Dulles Corridor Metrorail Project: Design-Build Contract for Phase I
By resolution approved on June 6, 2007, The Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority Board of Directors authorized the Airports Authority to enter into a contract to construct Phase I of the Dulles Corridor Metrorail project. On July 23, 2008, The Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority Board of Directors approved a resolution authorizing the Airports Authority to update the previously approved contract.
Below is a copy of the Terms and Conditions of the executed contract which consolidates all items of the original contract and the amendments through July 25, 2008, including the contract exhibits.

Redaction Tables
The redactions that have been made are limited as evidenced by the following tables. The Airports Authority and the Commonwealth must protect their financial interests as well as those of Fairfax and Loudoun Counties as local funding partners. Therefore, the redactions are only in the sections of the contract that address (i) future competitive procurement processes that will be used to acquire various items identified as allowances such as track work, station finishes, and automatic train control, (ii) the insurance limits information in the contractor’s proposed insurance program, (iii) insurance cost information and (iv) the personal names of key individuals as a protection of their individual privacy.
