Dulles International Airport’s record-setting passenger growth is outpacing its current terminal gate capacity. The airport’s existing gates are fully utilized several times per day, and passengers fill the waiting areas and concession locations. The new Concourse E, part of Dulles Next, will give passengers direct access from the airport's AeroTrain system while providing an enhanced customer experience and increasing the airport's capacity for domestic and international flights. The facility can be expanded through future projects with minimal impact on airport operations.
