FINAL ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT AND FINDING OF NO SIGNIFICANT IMPACT FOR AN EXPANSION TO THE INTERNATIONAL ARRIVALS BUILDING AND DEMOLITION OF THE SHOP I ANNEX BUILDING
The Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority (MWAA) proposes to expand the existing International Arrivals Building at Washington Dulles International Airport. The project includes site development, site utilities, and demolition of an existing building, the Shop I annex.
In conformance with the provisions of the National Environmental Policy Act, MWAA has prepared an Environmental Assessment (EA). After careful consideration of the information contained in the Final EA, the Federal Aviation Administration has determined that significant environmental effects will not result from the proposed action. Therefore, the FAA has issued a Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI).
The Final EA and FONSI can be viewed from the document list at the top of this page. Please direct any requests for the Final EA and FONSI, or any comments or questions on those documents to:
