• Take Metro to access downtown inaugural activities. Expect closed roads throughout DC.
  • Trains will run frequently through the weekend.
  • Traveling by car, taxi or rideshare could take considerably longer, given the planned road closures in the region.
• Before coming to the airport, check with your airline to ensure your flight is on time.
  • Check in on-line and review baggage policies in advance.
• Arrive at the airport at least two hours before your flight. 
  • Expect long lines. 
  • Several concessionaires will operate extended hours.
