Reduce Your Time in Line with Mobile Passport Control (MPC)

Mobile Passport Control (MPC) allows eligible travelers to submit their travel document, photo, and customs declaration information through a FREE, secure app on their smartphone or other mobile device. The MPC mobile app, is available to U.S. citizens, U.S. lawful permanent residents, Canadian B1/B2 citizen visitors and returning Visa Waiver Program travelers with approved ESTA. The use of MPC streamlines the entry process into the United States by reducing passport control inspection time and overall wait time. No membership is required.

Reduce Inspection Wait Times by Downloading the Global Entry (GE) App

1. DOWNLOAD the Global Entry Mobile App prior to entering the Federal Inspection Service Area.
2. SUBMIT A PHOTO on the Global Entry Mobile App to verify your membership and arrival into the U.S.
3. REPORT TO A GLOBAL ENTRY CBP OFFICER with your virtual receipt to confirm your entry into the U.S.

IAD is the nation’s first airport to offer Global Entry “Enrollment on Departure.” Interviews can be completed inside the B concourse at gate B41. CBP officers will staff this office from 12 p.m. through 8 p.m. each day. Enrollment on departure is not available for travelers departing IAD on domestic flights. The Global Entry App allows GE members to bypass the GE kiosks for a photo and get to the CBP officer quicker than using a kiosk.
